Pre-Apprenticeship describes an array of programs to provide apprenticeship preparation and to transition different talent pools into full Registered Apprenticeship Programs.  Generally, pre-apprenticeship combines academic and technical training, work readiness, and support services.  There is no guarantee of placement in a formal apprenticeship program upon completion of pre-apprenticeship training.

All Pre-Apprenticeship programs must be recognized and approved by the State Apprenticeship Agency.
